The Davis Akitas
Anyone who's owned an Akita (or been owned by one) knows there's no going back. Some
people are cat people, some are dog people - we're Akita people. :-)
Shuji, our first Akita
In spring of '98, we got our first Akita puppy, Shuji. He
was just as sweet as can be, and beautiful as well. Sadly, after two years of
poor health, he left us.
Moki, our first Rescue Akita
Unfortunately, "Rescue" means that he was rescued, rather than that he rescues people.
After several owners mistreated or neglected him, Moki eventually found his way to
Akita Rescue Mid-Atlantic Coast (ARMAC), and
then to our home.
Aki, our first female Akita
Aki is also from ARMAC, and came to us in November 2000 at the age of 8 weeks.
