Lucky Komachi Shot

While driving from Hachimantai to Yokote, at one point the road ran alongside the railroad tracks. After a short bit, we realized they must be the Akita Shinkansen tracks, and thought to try to get a photo. So Stefanie got the camera ready, then just waited.

She didn't have to wait long, either - a few seconds later, an E3 Komachi appeared, and she was able to snap this wonderful photo through the window of a moving car! We could hardly have expected a better photo even if we had planned it.
