Yet another wonderful ryokan dinner, this time at Yū-yū Plaza in Yokote.
At ryokan, each guest is provided with a yukata, a lightweight cotton robe similar to a kimono. They are typically "one size fits all" — if you are Japanese. When our attendant came to lead us to our private dining room, she helped Stefanie with her yukata, then turned to help Matthew. She took one look, gasped, and said with some embarrassment, "Maybe you need a large size yukata, I will be right back."
