Nagahama Latte

Holing up in Akita City for three days gave us the opportunity to become "regulars" at the Nagahama Coffee Company, located down the street from our ryokan. On our last night, we stopped in after our mildly disastrous dinner for some gelato — maple crunch for Matthew, and divine black sesame for Stefanie. Stefanie also ordered a latte, which the young coffee guy decorated like this. Because Stefanie is right-handed, she drank from where Latte Girl's neck would be, causing her to take on an even more Seussian look (Latte Girl, not Stefanie).
