Complete layout
This layout shows the quiet life out in the country. The oval track plan takes trains through a road crossing, over two bridges, through some woods and a rock cut as it circles around an isolated farmhouse. This is where people might go to "get away from it all", but it's hardly lifeless! Farm workers tend the livestock and fields while horseback riders overlook the tracks and a housewife chats with the neighbor who dropped by.

The bustling life of the city is the main feature of this layout. The over-and-under twice around (aka a "folded figure-8") track plan passes through a long viaduct section, a road crossing, and a rock cut as it circles the city's mix of high-rise apartments, offices, and smaller buildings. While some business travellers board a taxi for the airport and school children head home from school, other denizens are not as busy: some enjoy the fine autumn weather in the city while another takes a dog for a walk.
