Shibuya Station is famous as the station where Hachiko waited in vain for his dead master to return. In addition to the well-known statue of Hachiko outside the main entrance to the station, there is this relief mural of Akita dogs playing on a rainbow.
We learned that Shibuya is not a good place to visit early on a Monday morning. Shibuya is a fashionable party district, and by Monday morning the remains of the weekend are not at all appealing. Next time, we'll go some nice afternoon.
