Ōdate Rose Garden

Among the attractions of Ōdate city is a large rose garden. Due to the harsh winter, the roses were blooming quite late. We were there in mid-June, and many buds had not yet opened. The snow had also killed several of the roses.

Even so, the garden was amazing for the variety of rosebushes and the beauty of the buds and flowers.
